The Sigma Cine Classic 35mm T2.5 is a staple storytelling focal length reimagined with a warmly nostalgic visual character. Designed for full-frame cinema sensors, the lens is based on a fast f/1.4 optical platform, allowing naturally shallow depth of field even though the measured transmission is T2.5. The Classic coating treatment reduces contrast, softens highlight transitions, and introduces expressive flares, resulting in imagery that feels cinematic, textural, and emotionally inviting.

The 35mm is particularly well-suited for character-focused scenes, handheld work, and narrative environments where mood and tone matter as much as detail. Its mechanical construction remains consistent with the Sigma Cine standard: 95 mm front diameter, matched gear positions, and a smooth 180° focus rotation for accurate, repeatable pulling. Available exclusively in ARRI PL mount with metadata support, the 35mm T2.5 Classic brings a timeless, film-like aesthetic to one of cinema’s most essential focal lengths.
