The Sigma Cine Classic 24mm T2.5 is a wide-angle prime built for full-frame cinema sensors, delivering a natural sense of space with a nostalgic, film-inspired image character. Though its transmission rating is T2.5, the optics originate from a fast f/1.4 design, allowing the lens to produce shallow depth of field and subject separation despite the lower measured T-stop. The Classic coating approach selectively reduces contrast and encourages highlight bloom, resulting in a gentle, expressive image that evokes warmth and memory.

The coating treatment creates a signature look—flares are more expressive, highlights soften gracefully, and overall contrast rolls off smoothly for an organic, cinematic feel. The mechanical construction remains consistent with the Sigma Cine platform: 95 mm front diameter, matched gear positioning, and a 180° focus rotation for controlled, repeatable pulling. Available exclusively in ARRI PL mount with metadata communication, the 24mm T2.5 Classic integrates seamlessly into professional workflows while delivering a distinct and emotionally rich wide-angle aesthetic.
