The Canon CN-E 35mm T1.5 L F Cinema Prime Lens is a classic focal length designed to deliver exceptional cinematic imagery on both Full Frame and Super 35 sensor formats. As a high-speed optic, it features a fast T1.5 maximum aperture, allowing for stunning performance in low light and precise control over shallow depth of field. Its 11-blade circular iris maintains perfectly round out-of-focus highlights, creating a smooth, aesthetically pleasing bokeh. Focus operation is highly precise with a smooth, stepless 300° of barrel rotation, and the lens design is optimized to suppress focus breathing.

Constructed for the rigors of professional production, the lens housing is dust- and water-resistant. Innovative lens design minimizes the effects of thermal expansion, ensuring that focus markings remain accurate regardless of temperature variations on set. Focus distance scales are angled on the rear of the barrel and visible on both sides for easy reading by the focus puller. The 35mm T1.5 maintains the standardized mechanics of the CN-E line, including a 114mm front diameter and identical gear positions, which allows for fast, tool-less transitions between other CN-E lenses and accessories.
