This focal length is particularly effective for narrative portraiture and medium shots, utilizing three extra low dispersion elements to suppress chromatic aberration and maintain high contrast across the full frame sensor. With a minimum focusing distance of 0.61 meters, the lens allows for precise compositional control in standard production environments. The front cylindrical optical design works in tandem with a specialized coating to produce organic, non-continuous horizontal streak flares that respond dynamically to point light sources.

As part of the Arcana hybrid anamorphic series, this lens line is characterized by a 1.5X squeeze ratio paired with a fourteen blade dynamic elliptical iris to recreate the iconic waterfall bokeh typically reserved for 2X anamorphic systems. Each lens in the series is engineered with a durable aluminum alloy body and a unified eighty millimeter front diameter, allowing for seamless transitions between handheld, gimbal, and drone setups without the need for constant rebalancing.
