The Tokina Cinema Vista 21mm T1.5 is a wide-angle prime that offers an immersive field of view with a natural, story-forward perspective. Slightly narrower than an ultra-wide and wider than a traditional 24mm, this focal length excels at drawing the viewer into the environment without stretching or distorting character proportions. Its fast T1.5 aperture and large 46.7 mm image circle support full-frame and large-format sensors, providing strong low-light performance, smooth depth transitions, and a clean, modern rendering that remains consistent across the Vista lineup.

Optically, the 21mm maintains the Vista series signature look: controlled contrast, pleasing highlight rolloff, and rounded out-of-focus rendering from a 9-blade iris. Focus breathing is minimized, allowing the frame to remain stable during focus pulls, which is especially helpful in dialogue scenes and dynamic camera movement. Mechanically, the lens features a unified 114 mm front diameter, matched gear positions, and a long 300° focus rotation for reliable, repeatable pulls. With engraved markings on both sides and a robust all-metal construction, the 21mm T1.5 is built for demanding production environments and integrates seamlessly into professional lens sets.
