The ISCORAMA 54 CU-1.5x Anamorphic Front Adapter is the critical component for converting spherical lenses into anamorphic optics, enabling 2.40:1 widescreen capture on full-frame sensors. This adapter provides a constant 1.5x squeeze factor and features Schneider-Kreuznach's patented single-focus mechanism, allowing the user to control the focus of both the adapter and the taking lens with one gear. The unit is equipped with a standard 0.8 MOD gear on the focus ring and a 1/4"-20 UNC support bracket for secure rod mounting.
Designed for seamless integration with the ISCOspherical mini cine primes, the ISCORAMA 54 CU-1.5x has a robust minimum close focus distance of 1.4m. Its design includes stepless horizon adjustment for quickly correcting tilt, ensuring fast setup and operational flexibility on set. The adapter's rear thread allows for easy pairing with the ISCOsphericals or other compatible taking lenses via an appropriate adapter ring.
