Duclos Vibe Coating™

Duclos Vibe Coating™ is a user-applied optical treatment designed to introduce diffusion, halation, and contrast reduction to modern lenses. Applied directly to the front or rear element, it allows cinematographers to quickly alter the character of an image without additional filtration or modification.

Each application produces slightly different results depending on technique, thickness, and environmental conditions. The coating can be adjusted or removed as needed, making it suitable for both controlled and experimental workflows.

(Gloves are recommended during application)

Application method directly affects the resulting image. A light coating may introduce subtle bloom and lifted shadows, while heavier application can produce more pronounced diffusion, flare, and veiling glare.
