Duclos Lenses pioneered the DSLR lens movement by bringing high-end cinema lens features to smaller, lighter still photo lenses. Zeiss offers a wide range of focal lengths that are very well suited for cinema when combined with the Duclos Lenses Cine-Mod. Three parts make up the Cine-Mod: An 80mm front ring used for attaching a matte box and standardizing each lens to a common 77mm filter thread. A seamless 32-pitch focus gear for use with just about any industry standard follow focus. The ZE lenses differ from the ZF.2 lenses (Nikon-mount) in that they are a native Canon EF mount and do not have a manual aperture ring. The aperture is controlled electronically through a Canon EF mount camera. The ZE lenses cannot be de-clicked. The Zeiss ZE Cine-Mod lenses are a powerful tool for any cinematographer.
